At this site you will find a wide range of examples of my work, covering exhibitions and screenings, education projects and general freelancing. My activities include seeking commissions and exhibition space for my own work, running photographic facilities, workshops and courses, producing general editorial and publicity material for a variety of clients and providing creative and technical consultancy on audio-visual projects.

I was born in London, UK in 1960. I studied urban geography in the early 1980s and after a short period working as a musician, began a serious interest in photography gaining a post-graduate diploma in Communication from University of London, Goldsmiths' College in 1989. I am currently completing an MA in Urban Design at University of Westminster.

My personal interests lie primarily though not exclusively in the photographic representation of space and place - critical landscape photography, if you like. For more information on my work in this field click here.

The medium I have most favoured over the past eight years as a professional practitioner is the audio-visual tape-slide. For more on this beautiful but neglected medium click here.

My commercial work once centred on the production of performance stills, primarily for theatre productions, though I have worked in dance and music. I am currently more involved in urban and built environment documentary work.

Many of the images reproduced here were originally intended for viewing as projections, prints-on-walls or in publications. However I am working on more internet and multimedia-specific work, including downloadable videos and animations.
